1. The Banking Exam Ecosystem
Banking recruitment is known for its speed—most exams complete the entire process (Notification to Joining) within 6 months.

2. Salary Structure (12th Bipartite Settlement)

Probationary Officer (PO)
₹55k – ₹65k / mo
Bank Clerk / Assistant
₹32k – ₹37k / mo
Specialist Officer (IT/Law)
₹60k – ₹75k / mo
3. Selection Process
Banking exams test Speed and Accuracy. There is no descriptive paper for Clerks.
- Prelims (60 Mins): 100 Qs (English, Quant, Reasoning). Cutoffs are usually high (70+).
- Mains (3 Hours): Higher difficulty. Includes General Awareness (Banking GK). Marks here determine final selection.
- Interview: Only for PO and SO posts (100 Marks).
